Oral Presentation Guidelines
Before preparing your oral presentation and before coming to the 48th Annual General Meeting of the European Brain and Behaviour Society, please take a few minutes to read the following guidelines.
For your presentation
All presentations and questions must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the Conference.
Oral presentations are always accompanied by PowerPoint presentations. All speakers are entirely responsible for the presentation content (order, graphics etc…).
Once on-site please make sure to verify that the name of the room and the time of your presentation/assigned session has not changed.
Format of your presentation
Please prepare your presentation preferably using PowerPoint version 2013 or 2016, however older versions are also supported. The screens’ aspect ratio will be 16:9. Please note that Apple Keynote and Prezi presentations are not supported and they have to be converted into PDF files.
Supported file types:
• Presentation: TXT, DOC, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPA, PPTA, PPTX, PDF
• Video: AVI, MPG, MKV, MOV, MP4, WMV
• Audio: WMA, MP3, WAV
• Pictures: JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF
When saving your final presentation, please make sure to include your video files if having any as well as all links to these multimedia files.
As no presentation template is prepared, you are welcome to use your own.
Depositing your file
Please note all presentations must be uploaded (with a USB stick) in the presenting room where your lecture is scheduled for during Coffee break/ Lunch break, but at least 15 minutes before the session starts. A hall assistant will be available to assist you in every presenting room.
Presentation for an early morning session should be handed over in the evening before.
